Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines

Last updated 20 October 2026 Version 1.0

Summary

What is welcome here, what is not, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.

ContentMatch works because members give each other real feedback. These rules protect that.

Plain-English summary: be honest and be decent. No bots, no spam, no bought engagement, no harassment.

1. Be honest

Give feedback you actually mean, based on content you actually watched.

Do not submit feedback you did not write, or on content you did not review.

Do not confirm engagement you did not give.

Do not copy and paste the same feedback across posts.

2. Be decent

No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse.

No sexual content involving minors, and no content that exploits or endangers anyone.

No doxxing. Do not share private information about another person, including messages, addresses, or payment details.

No impersonation of another member, creator, brand, or platform.

3. No automation

No bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools.

No bought, sold, or traded engagement, followers, or views.

No attempts to manipulate recommendations, rankings, rewards, or reviews.

No multiple accounts, and no working around a suspension or ban.

No selling, renting, or transferring an account.

4. Post what you have the right to post

Post content you own or are licensed to share. Do not post other people's work as your own. Where you use someone else's material, make sure you are allowed to.

5. Links and integrations

Only link accounts you genuinely control.

Follow the terms of service of any platform you link. You are responsible for your own account's standing on those platforms.

6. Reporting

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it. Use the report option on the content, profile, or message. Reports are reviewed by a person.

False reports made in bad faith are themselves a breach of these rules.

7. What happens when rules are broken

Most issues are resolved with a warning and an explanation.

Repeated or serious breaches lead to a suspension, and then to a permanent ban.

Some things result in immediate removal: automation, bought engagement, harassment, and anything that endangers another person.

Where a reward was paid for a submission that breached these rules, the reward is reversed.

8. Appeals

If you believe an action against your account was wrong, contact compliance@contentmatch.io with the details. A person will review it.

9. Keeping these rules fair

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. Significant changes are announced in the app.
