Terms of Service

Welcome to ContentMatch.

ContentMatch is a community where creators find other creators in their niche, share what they make, and give each other honest feedback. These Terms are the agreement between you and ContentMatch. By creating an account you accept them.

Plain-English summary: be at least 16, use your own account, post content you have the right to share, and treat other members with respect. You keep ownership of what you post.

1. Who we are

ContentMatch is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Meta. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC, TikTok is a trademark of ByteDance Ltd, and Instagram and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.

3. Your account

Use one account per person. Do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account. Do not create accounts to work around a suspension or a ban. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you give ContentMatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute your content inside the platform so we can run the service. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept in backups or where we must keep records by law.

You confirm that you own or have permission to share anything you post, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.

5. Feedback and engagement

ContentMatch is built around honest feedback. Written feedback is the core contribution here and, where a campaign funds it, we pay for it.

Engagement is different. We never ask you to like, comment, subscribe, or follow anything. Engagement is recorded only when a member chooses to confirm support they have genuinely given, and only when they have rated that content 3 stars or above. Members cannot claim support for content they did not rate positively.

We review submissions. Rewards for content that was not genuinely reviewed are removed, and repeated attempts may suspend earning on your account.

6. Community rules

Do not use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automation to interact with ContentMatch or any linked platform.

Do not post spam, malware, or content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative of minors.

Do not attempt to manipulate recommendations, rankings, or rewards.

Do not use ContentMatch to sell or buy engagement, followers, or views.

Do not impersonate another person, brand, or platform.

Do not collect other members' information without their consent.

7. Paid work and credits

Where you are offered paid work, the amount, the action required, and any review step are shown to you before you do it. Unpaid participation is always available and is not affected by declining paid work.

8. Platform integrations

You can link a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram account so we can verify ownership and display your content. Our API Compliance Statement explains exactly what we read and what we never do. You must comply with the terms of any platform you link.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing would put other members or the platform at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

10. Our service

ContentMatch is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We do not guarantee any particular result: not views, not subscribers, not engagement, not revenue, and not any outcome on a third-party platform.

11. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, ContentMatch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data, or any action a third-party platform takes in relation to your account.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid ContentMatch in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover ContentMatch for claims, losses, or costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or of a third-party platform's terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use ContentMatch after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
